About the CEE
Ecology and evolution are vibrant, basic sciences, and research in them underpins our understanding of conservation, agriculture and medicine. Many of the research break-throughs and successful teaching ventures in the field have resulted from a collaborative and interdisciplinary approach. University College London, the Institute of Zoology (Zoological Society of London), Natural History Museum, Imperial College, Queen Mary, Royal Holloway and Kew Gardens have formed a centre of excellence in research and teaching, the Centre for Ecology and Evolution (CEE). The CEE aims at enhancing research in ecology and evolution across London by fostering exchange and collaboration between its members. The CEE is open to any individual and has strong links with other institutions in London.
The CEE is run by a cross-institutional steering committee, directed by Dr Sandra Knapp (NHM) and Dr Max Reuter (UCL).
